Rolando Sanchez

Singer, Songwriter, Percussionist, Promoter, Producer and Award Winning Recording Artist!

Hawaii's Premiere International Latin Music Recording Artist and Multi-Award winner.  Born in Masaya, Nicaragua and a native of San Francisco where his music career started.  Moved to  Hawaii in 1984 bringing forth the Salsa Music movement with his band Salsa Hawaii. With a track record of countless performances throughout Hawaii and abroad, Rolando Sanchez has produced ten albums of his own, as well as being a percussionist for other Latin artists CD.

The President/Owner of RSC Music Label and New Salza Music Publishing companies.  Based in Hawaii with offices in Las Vegas/West Coast. In addition to his original band Salsa Hawaii, his current bands also includes The Latin Jazz Combo and The All Star Band. Both with their own unique music styles.

In addition to his own recordings, he has been the featured guest percussionist on more than a dozen CDs from various local, national, and international recording artists. Rolando has also shared the stage with local, national, and international recording artists such as: Mariachi del Sol, Joe Henderson, Michael Franks, Eddie Palmieri, Orquesta De La Luz, The Mamas & The Papas, Sting, Crystal Gayle, Jazz Crusaders, Tito Puente, Pete and Sheila E.
