It is a honor to have you participate in Hawaii Music Awards. You have single handedly kept Latino music alive and constant on the music scene - no easy task these days. You have done everything possible and just about every where you can put music in you have done it. With pride, class, integrity and perseverance. You never stop expanding your horizons and you do it with joy, enthusiasm and fire under the butt.
Rolando Sanchez is a household name in the latino world in Hawaii. You are the shining star for all the latinos to be proud of their heritage and music. It is my pleasure to have the distinction of your music in our program and I thank you for thinking of us with this years Hawaii Music Awards. Best of luck and go get'um!
